I went to the 9th live surgery course ( third time) going after 1st and 3rd live surgery course. My surgical skills deteriorated due to COVID period, so I felt the need of refresher.  Dr Kim always emphasizes strong foundation of implant placement. ANYBODY can place implants, but very few will indeed place implants prosthetically correct. I have seen many failures from other clinicans, and many of those did not follow the rules that Dr. Kim emphasizes.

The course was very organized, starting from transportation, meal , schedule, etc. He paired partners per chair based on the clinical levels. 

I am amazed that the course gets better and better everytime I come.  This time, I learned to do more complex flap managements, proper suturing techniques and even learned how to do lateral sinus lift. 

He or other instructors ( Thank you Dr. Cho, Dr. Ahn , Dr. Park and Dr. Gong !!!)  will guide you according to the level you are at. 

I am very thankful to have Dr. Kim as a mentor and to have set a higher standard for implantology as young clinician.
