I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed and learned from this amazing live surgery course! I am a fairly recent graduate who always wanted to learn more about implants but did not know where to begin. I had attended some of Dr. Youngsam Kim's lectures in the past and finally decided to take his 5-day live surgery course last month in Tijuana, Mexico. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did.

The course was PACKED with great amount of information and most importantly, lots of clinical hands-on training. There were a total of 3.5 days of clinic, in which time I was able to place more than TEN implants on live patients. And these were not all just basic, uniform cases-- I had the opportunity to perform a wide range of cases including extraction and immediate implant placement,  anterior implant placement, and even crestal sinus lift. And the most important part was that Dr. Kim and the covering faculty taught us how to perform these cases in a simple, safe and efficient manner. Throughout the entire clinic time there were many faculty members who constantly watched and guided us, maximizing our learning and ensuring that we performed surgeries safely.

I highly recommend this implant course to all general dentists who want to learn about implant placement and soft tissue management. Prior to taking this course I had mostly focused on restorative dentistry and avoided surgical procedures. This hands-on live surgery course definitely allowed me to go outside of my comfort zone and have the confidence to carry out more surgical procedures in my office. 

Lastly I want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Kim and all the covering faculty, lecturers, and staff members for organizing and leading this course. It was truly a great experience!
