Dr Kim’s live surgery was for all experience level to attend and learn about implantology and general dental surgery.

I got to experience wide variety of cases from sinus lifting to immediate implant placements as well as few impacted wisdom teeth extractions. You can do as many as you are capable of doing as there are plenty of cases to go around for everyone. It was different to other live surgery courses where prosthodontics side of things were not taken into account. All the patients who attended the surgery had plans for crowns and bridges to go on the implants eventually.

Dr Kim’s principles were simple. Either you place it well enough for placing crowns or bridges or you remove the fixture. Keep the surgery simple, safety of the patients always comes first.

After attending the live surgery course, my confidence level for implant surgeries were boosted greatly. I would highly recommend this course to any general dentist wanting to start their implant journey properly.
