We have successfully finished the 6th live surgery course in Mexico last week. We had 12 new participants, 3 returned dentists, 5 observing dentists from US and Korea, 7 faculty dentists, and 5 instructors (2 Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, 1 Periodontist, and 2 General dentists). The live surgeries were assisted by 4 Korean and US hygienists, and 20 local dentists and assistants from Mexico.
We have performed multiple sinus lifts, Guided Bone Regeneration, immediate implant placements, mini implants for replacing the lower anterior teeth, single, multiple implants on the same quadrant, guided surgery cases.
It was more meaningful for me because 6 of the new participants were from Toronto, Canada. We also held a free pre-clinical hands on practice for the implant placement and suture on models from 2PM to 11PM on Thursday, a day before live surgery.
